Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
The South Bronx CSA has partnered with local farmer, Sergio Nolasco & Nolasco Farms, to provide fresh, organic vegetables every week for the entire summer & early fall (June through October). One “share” is enough for two to three people, including 7 different vegetables each week. So in exchange for a flat fee paid to the farmer, you get fresh vegetables all season long! PRICING - Consider splitting a share with your neighbor! Pay weekly or monthly! $400 one-time, or @ $18/week, or @ $70/month Each share requires a 4-hour volunteer commitment which is easy to finish in the 5-month program. Each week, the vegetables are delivered to East 138th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue, or the South Bronx Food Coop at 3103 Third Avenue and 158th St.
